I was born between the time young people called their friend’s parents Mr. and Mrs. and when a simple “Hey!” was acceptable. Being an only child, friends have always been paramount to me. Because of a wonderful mom and a great dad, I turned out pretty good. I went from a prissy dainty little girl who has always loved purple to a “not-as-prissy” little woman who still loves purple. I just traded the purple bicycle for a purple gun.

Speaking of shooting; that’s my passion, my hobby, what I do most of the time . Travel is also big on my favorites list and fortunately I often need to travel in order to shoot. It seems like I’ve had some sort of firearm in my hand since I was around five. Of course the early ones fired a cork, and then moved up to BB’s before I got the taste of gun powder.

I have been shooting competitively since 1993. I currently shoot a Para Ordnance P-16 in IPSC competition. I am B class Limited Division. For Production class I use the Para LDA .  My sponsorships include: Para Ordnance, Arredondo Accessories, Blue Wonder, Sabre Defence, A-Grip, Blade-Tech and Atlanta Arms Ammunition. I was sponsored by Glock for 9 years prior to Para.

As a female in a male dominated sport, I tend to be a high profile figure with a fair share of media coverage. I believe this helps promote women into the shooting sports and brings my sponsors the exposure they are looking for.

In college at California State University Long Beach, I majored in Marketing. I never pursued a career in that field, but a degree is never wasted. I use my education in the Interior Design Industry in purchasing.

Purchasing; I love to do that also. Shopping the local resources for shooting supplies and shoe shopping at the mall gives me great pleasure. Although it has become more difficult with the price of ammunition these days! But I believe where there’s a will, there’s a way!

I was born and raised in Southern California. Most of my adult life being in San Diego. Now I reside in Mesa Az., "a shooting meca!". San Diego is wonderful but the desert sunsets and the freedom of living in a Republican State is hard to beat. Can I claim dual citizenship?

What else I believe: I believe in honesty and doing your best. I’m a pretty competitive person but a win is only sweet when it’s accomplished through genuine effort. Life is about working towards goals and accomplishing them. The thrill of success is equal to the work put forth to attain it. Well, sometimes you get a little help from family, friends, and sponsors. When that happens, the appreciation felt in your heart is amazing! All in all, I consider myself to be a pretty lucky gal with a great past and a bright future!
